Though initially we concentrated more on Bangalore based jobs, a lot of other cities in India grew up to become BPO destinations in these few years.
industry in India has now reached a maturity level. It has some established players now. Some of them have been keeping their quality standards quite consistently over these years. NASSCOM has been actively assisting and watching the developments in Indian BPO industry and has over the years provided generous value base for any one who is interested in this area.
A lot still needs to get worked out. Employee satisfaction is not comparable to that of IT industry. Many outdated Laws needs to be revisited. Rules of the game are constantly changing. Security is an international concern now. Fortunately, India is actively addressing these issues but the speed of implementation, at least from the government level leaves lot to be desired.
